Music reviews, commentary, and more.
I'm listening to this song right now drinking coffee. I've been obsessed with replaying it for the past month. The lyrics really speak to me 'i blame it on my a.d.d. baby.' the ooohhhhhh of the chorus amidst each powerful cry of 'sail' really makes me want to believe in something, in going after what you want, in sailing after a destination. It has this profound tone of going against your own problems and the problems of reality, fiercely, and bravely, in the same way that the Egyptions used to pit themselves against elements beyond their control, with their respect to the gods. This band really achieved something with this, in my opinion.
