Off their 2010 album I'm Having Fun Now, the song below, Animal, has everything one could want from a pop song including catchy guitar riffs and a chorus that's impossible not to sing along with. Jenny is Jenny Lewis from the band Rilo Kelly, Jonathan Rice is her boyfriend who also played Roy Orbison in the 2005 film about another Johnny, Walk the Line.

What other songs would you recommend off their album?
I think the only single so far is "Big Wave," so you might want to give that a listen, but I think I like both "Just Like Zeus" and "New Yorker Cartoon" more than that song.
